Teachers from Ural State Pedagogical University and Allama Iqbal Open University exchanged pedagogical practices in the field of special education
Teachers from USPU Institute of Special Education met with colleagues from the Department of Special Education, Allama Iqbal Open University (Islamic Republic of Pakistan) in online.
The aim of the meeting was to exchange pedagogical practices in the field of special education as well as to develop cooperation between two universities.
Tatyana Tenkacheva, candidate of pedagogical sciences, Associate Professor, devoted her report to the issues of early help for children with developmental disabilities in the Russian education system.
Elena Semenova, Head of the Institute of Special Education, Associate Professor of the Special Pedagogy and Special Psychology Departmentspoke about the peculiarities of building an individual educational route for a child with disabilities in the Russian education system.
Head of the Department of Special Pedagogy and Special Psychology, Galina Zak presented her working experience on the topic «Vocational guidance and vocational training for students with disabilities in Russia» and also demonstrated textbooks for children with intellectual disabilities, developed in cooperation with group of companies «Prosveshchenie».
Professor, Doctor Tanzila Nabeel from the Department of Special Education at Allama Iqbal Open University spoke about the implementation of disability and special education system for children with special needs in Pakistan.
Doctor Hina Noor, Assistant Professor from the Department of Special Education at Allama Iqbal Open University presented a report on the assessment of special needs children in Pakistan.
Assistant Professor from the Department of Special Education, Dr. Hafiz Tahir Jameel talked about educational strategies for the children with special needs in Pakistan.
Yuri Kirdanov, Head of the Foreign Students Support Sector, accompanied the meeting as an interpreter.
At the end of the meeting colleagues answered questions of interest and shared unique educational organizations of vocational training for students with disabilities.
The colleagues make a route for further cooperation in the development of special education between USPU Institute of Special Education and AIOU Department of Special Education from Islamabad the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
