Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood has more than 25 years of experience working in education sector at different levels.

He has taught research methods, educational psychology and quantitative data analysis to undergraduate, post-graduate and PhD students in various public and private sector universities.

He has completed more then 60 research projects/grants as Principal, Co-Principal and team member. He has 57 research papers published in national and international peer reviewed journals.

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
