Introduction

The Department of Urdu has been offering PhD Urdu since 1998. Admission for PhD Urdu are announced in Spring semester (commencing from 1st February) every year.

Eligibility Criteria

MPhil Urdu or equivalent from any HEC recognized university in first division (in annual system) or CGPA (3.0 out of 4) in semester system.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit/criteria laid down by the Department/ University.

Teaching Methodology

The University allots study centre and tutors for the students to get guideline accordingly. A student has to secure passing marks in assignments as well as in final exams to successfully complete concerned educational programme.
