Mr Omer Bhatti
Architect Omer shujat bhatti joined AIOU as a Research Associate in 2018 at Department of Nutritional Sciences & Environmental Design. He was the first MS Environmental Design graduate from the department.
Being a practicing Architect with license from PCATP, has more than 11 years of experience in Architectural, Healthcare, Environmental design development as well as teaching & academic.
Has conducted multiple research projects as well as supervised MS and MSc students of Environmental Design domain. He has also been engaged with teaching at MSc / MS level along with supervisory roles.
His core area of interest included Architecture, Healthcare design, Environmental Design, Project Management & Educational pedagogy with respect to environment.

Research Projects Won

  1. Evaluation of potential transformation to manage epidemic in healthcare facility in lieu of COVID19. Building the case of RIH for future epidemic expansion through environmental design. Won internal AIOU ORIC research grant project as Co-PI for the year 2021-22 worth Rs. 150,000/-. Project completed.
  2. Post-COVID19 classroom design intervention through end user prioritization of environmental variables: A case for face to face classroom simulation design. Won internal AIOU ORIC research grant project as Co-PI for the year 2021-22 worth Rs. 250,000/-. Project completed.
