Introduction
As the house of 56th Faculty Board suggested, general education courses are aligned with the existing B.Ed (1.5 years) offered from the Faculty of Education. Alignment of 8613 is not admissible due to the fact that separate grouping of students of B.Ed 1.5 Special Education is not possible (confirmed by respective Course Coordinator) therefore research Project of Special Education (8452) is retained in the scheme of studies.
Rationale
The existing B.Ed (1.5 years) do not serve the purpose for the discipline of Special Education, so a new program is prepared to give the opportunity to students with 16 years of education to enter into the field of special education as professional teachers. The program covers general education courses in the first semester followed by two semesters for Special education courses. Details of the program are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria.
- 16 years of Education i.e. B.S Hon/MA/MSc/ B.S (4-Year) etc. with 45% marks.
