Region History

RC Abbottabad established in 1987 and shifted in its own purpose-built building in 2013. The covered area of RC is 12.8 kanal which comprises of offices, library, IT Lab, conference room and examination halls. The computer lab having 30 PCs facilitates students in online admissions and other academic activities. The catchment area caters the needs of eight district and twenty-two tehsils. About 3000 registered tutors are available in the pool of the campus.

About

The Allama Iqbal Open University was established in May, 1974, with the main objectives of providing educational opportunities to masses and to those who cannot leave their homes and jobs. During all these past years, the University has more than fulfilled this promise.
